Quick answers to frequently asked questions

Here are some answers to the questions we often get asked regarding our admissions process.
Can I pay the Registration Fee online?
Yes you may! If you are submitting your application online, you can pay the Registration Fee online using either a debit or credit card (otherwise it can be paid by check or other options). Applications can only be processed once the Registration Fee has been paid.
Do I have to complete an Application Form for each child?

Yes please! We must receive an application for each child you desire to enroll at Forerunner Christian Academy. You can apply online here.

Do I have to submit the Student Report Cards, Standardized Test Scores, and Vaccinations at the same time as the Application?

We greatly appreciate you submitting all of the the above items at the same time you submit your child’s application.

How will I know if my child has been accepted to FCA?

Our office will contact you via email and/or phone regarding your child’s acceptance.

Will I need to confirm that I accept a placement if it is offered?

Yes, please. We kindly ask that all parents confirm acceptance by choosing the tuition plan that works best for you and your family along with paying your curriculum and lab fee (when applicable).

Can I contact the Admissions Office if I have any questions?

Will there be any live instruction?

FCA primarily offers a fully asynchronous learning experience. Mentors will be available to answer questions through a secure platform on Tuesday and Thursday as well as in person on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during school hours.

Will a mentor be available for extra help if needed?

Mentors will monitor student progress, grade activities and assignments within 48 hours, answer questions about content, and offer general guidance to help the student succeed in our online learning approach. This may include clarifying curricular content and assignment details or sharing supplemental resources to aid in understanding instructional material.

Is it necessary to have a tutor?

If you student needs addictional help beyond parental support and mentor facilitation, it is the family’s responsibilty to obtain academic support, including a tutor.

How are FCA students accessed in their online courses?

There will be various learning activities and assessments that will be utilized in our courses including, but not limited to, multiple choice quizzes, short and long answer questions, true/false statements, essays, projects, and interactive videos.

Will students be learning synchronously with other online students?

All students enrolled in FCA will learn asynchronously, which means no two students are in the same place at the same time within their course content. The Bible class can be an exception to this.
